Head of New Markets Business Unit (Position #2120)

We’re looking for a professional, with the spirit of an entrepreneur, who has the experience in launching new verticals/operations from scratch, turning them into a profitable revenue channel.

We want the best, brightest, and most passionate people to develop innovative and practical products and bring them to market to meet our business goals for the new markets business unit.


  • Use your experience and skills, along with your imagination, to shape product roadmaps and the development of innovative and practical business verticals/products to meet business goals.
  • Manage the business unit P&L and team.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the business unit and internal interfaces with legal, finance and business units.
  • Build and execute quarterly and yearly work plans.
  • Budget assembling and working with goals/budget control.
  • Participate in identifying, developing and leading new market, product and growth opportunities while analyzing and understanding current market trends; identify “Blue Ocean” opportunities.
  • Build the Business Unit around strong verticals/products and develop it so it becomes millions of dollars in revenue portfolio.
  • Works closely with Media dep. on implementing media strategy for the new verticals/products.
  • Provide end-to-end project leadership of complex, highly visible and multi-stakeholder initiatives/products, including responsibility for problem definition, accurate analysis, stakeholder engagement, and process management.
  • Lead various teams within the business unit and collaborate across the company to assure successful and profitable use of product line.


  • Experience managing the performance and development of cross functional team of people under tight time-frames and occasionally without direct management authority.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in management and leading operations/business units, or a senior business operational function related to the online media industry.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • 2 years of managerial experience.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution track record.
  • Proven ability in development of new markets/products, including experience with go-to market strategies and taking the lead in following through with such planning.
  • Ability to communicate concepts in clear and simple ways to a senior audience.
  • Team player that knows how to work collaboratively with a wide set of stakeholders to proactively identify opportunities.
  • Numbers driven with solid analytical skills.
  • Love and understand digital media world.
  • Ability to multi-task projects with equal priority.
  • Fluent in English.
